Feedback for Draft
After completing my first draft of my analytical report I had to ponder how to get feedback on the report. To do this I have decided to talk with friends and family and have them look over my paper and see if they feel anything should be changed. In doing this I will be able to find out any errors in grammar and composition. I will also be able to get an outside look into the world of advertising, which should give me helpful input into this project as a whole. After this is done I plan to solicit feedback from the Fargo Theater. This will be very easy as all I will have to do is schedule an appointment with Margie Bailey. Once I have made the appointment I will then ask her what she thought of my effort to help the Fargo Theater and how she feels about the class project in general. I would like to find out specifically about my report and if she may consider hiring me onto their staff. I am not looking for entry level, but rater somewhere in upper management possibly right under Margie. This will take a lot of work and effort, but if I was to do this it would definitely be the ultimate feedback on this report.

Marketing Proposal
I am at this time focusing on creating a marketing proposal for the Fargo Theater. I will begin by looking at the Johnson-Shehan text in order to get a better look at how an analytical report should look. I will also be doing this to get a better feel of what is expected of me on this report and hope to learn a lot from this pricey textbook. I will be integrating details on how to go about learning facts about the NDSU student body and how to get these students to focus on the Fargo Theater as one of their central entertainment venues. I will explain how to go about learning information about the student body by implementing questionnaires on campus as well as verbal surveys. This is a huge tool at finding out what the student body wants and needs and will aid the Fargo Theater on not only what they play, but also what they should be carrying for concession products. I will then shift my look to what kind of things can be used to get the word out to NDSU students about the theater and will do this by talking to students and see how they feel they should be marketed to and what they would better respond to whether it be coupons, word of mouth, Facebook, Myspace, Fliers on campus, etc. Students will determine if the campaign is successful and the only way to find out how to market to them is to do so by talking with them directly. I will then talk about numbers and what it may cost in order to implement these plans that I have been speaking about. I will find this information by calling around or simply doing my own analysis of cost to the Theater by average costs incurred by likewise campaigns.

Marketing Proposal
Define the mission: Create/propose ideas for a marketing plan for the Fargo Theatre by March 27, 2008.
Setting objectives: We are being asked to develop a plan for the theatre for their marketing plan. We are not developing a marketing plan.
Defining responsibilities:
Getting together at multiple times during the course of the assignment due date to collaborate the information and research that we have collected. We need to start by doing the “forming” and “storming” part of the teaming stages. This includes defining the mission and setting objectives and responsibilities which will help us to understand what this project is about. We want to get together as a group early on to have meetings together out of class, so we have plenty of time to organize all of our information into a proposal that is well suited for the Fargo Theatre. We want to start by identifying the target market of the theatre and how we can better market to them. We want to look specifically at student groups on the NDSU campus, possibly including other colleges in the area as well, and also targeting online forums. We need to take a look at what kind of resources the Fargo Theatre has with regards to their cash, supplies, etc.

My Business Career Path
In pondering what I will be doing in ten years I asked myself what I did not want to be doing. I came up with one certain answer, I want to be my own boss and not have to work for someone else. I want to control my future and not have someone do so for me.
I see myself buying into a franchise such as Subway or a Quizno's. I at the moment am in the process of starting a website to raise the capital to fulfill my dream of buying into a franchise. The next step will be then to open more stores to get more market share.
I will also be diversifying along the way and getting into other business venture which I dream to be profitable and have a decent return on investment. This is where I see myself ten years from now, after graduating from NDSU and having learned and gained the experience to broaden my business ventures.
